Despite the not-so-warm weather during basketball season in Provo, students camped outside the Marriott Center in hopes of snagging front row seating. The Marriott Center was named in honor of benefactor J. Willard Marriott, founder of the Marriott Corporation. BYU fielded its first basketball team in 1903.
